okay this one is for the golfers out there...
where in the gta are bette & court articles sold? i seem to have acquired a shirt of theirs by mistake, and would like to try to return it for store credit if possible... it appears to be the sort of item that can be found at golf pro shops, but the name of at least one that carries this stuff would be pretty handy at this point. bonus points if it's in the west end!
alternately, does anyone wanna buy a shirt off of me? it's polyester. yum. |

| Purrfect Pals Cats |
[Dec. 29th, 2009|02:25 pm] |
I volunteer to take photos of the cats at different adoption centers in the Greater Seattle Area who still need them for the website. It's a tough job, I know, photographing and playing with cats.

| Let's talk about the waterfront! |
[Dec. 29th, 2009|04:52 pm] |
| [ | Current Mood |
| | optimistic | ] | I just moved into a rental condo near the waterfront. So far I've discovered... well, not much. There's a Shoppers open til midnight. There's a Sobey's. I walked by a Thai place but I'm not sure if it's any good...
What are the hidden gems along the downtown (Spadina-ish) part of the waterfront? Please tell me :) |

Are there any Value Villages/Salvation Army shops around Kensington Market? Any suggestions regarding Kensington? I'm going there for the first time tmr and I'd love some recommendations for food/stores/etc! |

| Unique stationary/organizational stuff |
[Dec. 29th, 2009|02:47 pm] |
I went Pier 1 Imports and discovered the brand Knock Knock, which has some great stationary and things like this:

Does anyone know where I can find these where they are *not* overpriced? I like a lot of their stuff, it's pretty unique. Also please don't recommend I just make them, that's not helpful! I already know this. I'm looking to see if I can find these, or similar sort of items (anything on the site really) for lower prices.
Thanks!

| WTF: citric acid |
[Dec. 29th, 2009|03:11 pm] |
Is there a place in Toronto where i can get citric acid? I need 500gm - 1 kg. I know there are some online stores I can get it from, but I'd prefer brick and mortar store at this point.
Thank you in advance :) |

| TTC ticket expiration date. Are they serious? |
[Dec. 29th, 2009|02:59 pm] |
I found out too late that the TTC's stopgap tickets expire on January 2 in the new year. I just bought some last week and can't use all of them in time.
How seriously are they likely to enforce this deadline? For example, are TTC collectors likely to accept the ticket if I included an extra $0.25 to match the new fare?
If not, I have seven TTC tickets to sell at a discount price. |

| WTF: Sandals in December |
[Dec. 29th, 2009|11:28 am] |
I'm attempting to do my last shopping for a vacation to a sunny and warm area and need to find sandals. Shopping for sunny time clothes/accessories in December has been kinda difficult so I'm curious if anyone could point me to a store that would sell these types of sandals at a cheap price.
Any store that sell Hawaiian type shirt and swim trunks would be good to. I'm already gonna go check out Kensington market but I'm open to getting other suggestions. |

| Ziggy and her "Magic Helmet" |
[Dec. 29th, 2009|05:19 pm] |
| [ | Current Mood |
| | amused | ] | She goes absolutely nuts for these things. This is her 2nd one, and she will even walk around with it on her head. She likes she can stick her head through the 'tissue lifter' on the bottom, and see through the top.
